Anna Kõuhkna (b. 1994) holds a Master’s degree in Art Education from the joint program of the Estonian Academy of Arts and Tallinn University, a Bachelor of Arts from the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication Institute, and has studied at the Pallas University of Applied Sciences. In the artist’s works, nature and the Human being hold a special place, supported by a visual language translated into symbols. Recent exhibitions include a joint show with Malle Leis (“Point of Contact. Point.” 2024, Art&Tonic Gallery), a solo exhibition at the Kärdla Cultural Center (“Our Roots Are Still Sprouting” 2024), “Dear Light, Dear Shadow” at Jakobi Gallery (2023), and the group exhibition “The Fifth Element” (2023, Vaal Gallery, with artists Sandra Sirp, Anu Muiste, and Helen Sirp). In September 2025, the exhibition “Limoncello and the Red Moon” will be open at EKO Gallery, featuring co-artist Krete Erlenhein and curated by Mauri Gross. Anna Kõuhkna has been a member of the Estonian Painters’ Association since 2019.
