Moona Saul (b. 1992) studied fashion design and technology at TEKO in Denmark and the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. She then moved into the world of illustration and painting, holding her first (group) exhibition in Amsterdam (2020). From there, her journey led her to tattoo art, while simultaneously discovering the yarn tufting technique as a means of expression. Painting and illustration have always accompanied these pursuits. Moona’s painting style is figurative art in a bright, psychedelic, and slightly ironic key.
